SummerFest, the newest upright selection from the stone fruit breeding program at USDA-ARS station in Kearneysville, WV, colors to a dark red over an attractive yellow background. The size is medium to large and the shape is very uniform. Fruit is completely freestone and the flavor is very good. Parentage is includes Crimson Rocket and Bounty.
