Description
Grown extensively in the Northeast as a late summer McIntosh-type apple. A good shipper, Summer Mac is a bright red apple with creamy white flesh. Keeps well in short-term storage and maintains quality up to two weeks in the market. An annual bearer, Summer Mac is very precocious and requires good thinning practices. Characteristics
